In 2018, a new study quantified the impact of Port Milwaukee on the regional economy, finding that Port Milwaukee’s maritime cargo and vessel activity had a significant positive effect. In sum, Port Milwaukee generated over $100 Million in business revenue on the City of Milwaukee and the region’s economy in 2017.
