Milwaukee earned its reputation as “The City of Festivals” by hosting a variety of ethnic festivals, as well as Summerfest presented by American Family Insurance, a nine-day music festival featuring more than 800 artists on 12 stages annually in June and July. In 2023, major cultural events hosted at Henry Maier Festival Park include:

Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. (MWF) is proud to continue to fulfill its nonprofit mission of bringing the community together and providing a showcase for performing arts, activities, and recreation to the public, through music and special events.

In addition to Summerfest, MWF also maintains and improves Henry Maier Festival Park, a 75-acre site, which hosts a variety of ethnic and cultural festivals, concerts, walks, runs, and other special events.

Image of Northwestern Mutual ParkThe Northwestern Mutual Community Park, which opened in 2021, is located inside Henry Maier Festival Park. The Community Park offers inclusive and accessible play for children ages 2 to 12 years of age, including those who may experience a variety of challenges.
